The Useful Links Page has several technology websites that will help incorporate technology in your lesson plans. The following lesson plan integrates technology along with science, writing, and art.  I displayed the students’ hand drawn flowers and seed packets on our bulletin board in the hallway entitled Blossoming Talents.

Seed Packets:

As a result of their research, students create a seed packet for a plant or flower of their choosing.

Use MS Publisher to create class seed catalog or gardening how to book (may sell as a class fundraiser)

Drawing/Coloring/Painting:

Assessment:

Informal Assessment – Teacher circulates in order to observe student progress in operating a computer and obtaining the research information.

Formal Assessment – Written responses to questions should reflect the information on the websites aforementioned.
